Side Table With Gold Finish: Hourglass Damru Metalwork with Dual Smoked Glass
The Modanio Side Table With Gold Finish is an architectural showpiece that transforms living room corners, bedside suites, and executive lounges. Built with an iconic 15×15-inch profile and standing at 18 inches high, this versatile piece functions seamlessly as an accent end table beside lounge chairs, an opulent bedside table in master suites, or a statement accent table in stylish foyers. Its silhouette is inspired by the ancient Damru / hourglass form: two sweeping sets of curved tubular arches that taper inward to a central waist ring before flaring gracefully toward the floor. Both upper and lower decks are fitted with premium smoked tempered glass that is resistant to thermal shock, beverage spills, and scratches. To maintain a clean, screw-free look, each glass tier rests securely on pre-applied high-bond industrial clear buffer adhesive pads that eliminate rattling and vibration. Directly handcrafted in our Moradabad workshop, the surgical-grade SS 304 stainless steel frame is treated with high-vacuum PVD titanium gold for lasting brilliance.
Design & Engineering Highlights of the Damru Gold Table
Iconic Damru Hourglass Curve
The tapering waistline and sweeping curved tubular arches create a dramatic focal point that elevates surrounding furniture with sculptural balance.
High-Bond Buffer Adhesive Lock
Pre-applied industrial clear buffer pads securely grip both glass tiers to the steel collars, eliminating wobbling and annoying rattling during everyday use.
Permanent PVD Titanium Mirror Gold
Applied in high-vacuum chambers, the titanium gold coating bonds at a molecular level with the SS 304 frame, guaranteeing zero peeling, tarnishing, or oxidation over decades.
Dual-Tier Smoked Glass Storage
The double-level layout offers ample functional room for whiskey decanters, cocktails, books, or ambient table lamps across two tiers.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How is the glass held securely on this side table with gold finish?
Each tempered glass disc rests on pre-applied high-bond clear industrial buffer adhesive pads fitted along the inner frame collar. This provides a non-slip, shock-absorbing lock that holds the glass firmly without unsightly surface clips or screws.
Q: Will the PVD titanium gold finish tarnish or peel over time?
No. Unlike ordinary electroplating or gold spray paint, our PVD titanium coating is vacuum-deposited onto SS 304 surgical-grade stainless steel, creating a rock-hard layer that will never rust, peel, or tarnish even in high humidity.
Q: Can this table function as both an end table and a bedside table?
Yes! At an 18-inch height and compact 15-inch diameter, it fits comfortably alongside sofa armrests as a stylish end table and pairs naturally with luxury mattresses as a bedside accent table.
